Paid time off and holiday closures
It's important to take some personal time for yourself and to spend time with loved ones. Our paid vacation time is competitive. In addition to statutory holidays, we offer additional paid time off between Christmas and New Year's day during our annual office holiday closure.

Our Story
Founded in 2004 as Strik, Baldinelli & Associates Ltd. (SBA) by Michael Baldinelli, M.E.Sc., P. Eng. and Aaron Strik, P.Eng. SBA's primary focus was on the structural design of small buildings. We have since grown to a multi-disciplinary consulting firm servicing private and public sector clients across Ontario.
Working at SBM has been amazing so far! There has been endless learning opportunities, friendly welcoming colleagues, and great management that keep work exciting. Working here has truly set me up for success in applying for my professional engineering license and nothing beats working at a company that cares to make work enjoyable too. Absolutely love the monthly social events, in addition to the annual parties/events, to bring the company together and get people mingling. It’s been great here and look forward to continued learning and growth at SBM.
